CareBuilders at Home Oakland County, MI, 8th Graders & Dads Helps Feed Seniors During the Holidays!

Over the holidays we got together with 8th graders from St. Regis Middle School and dads to help feed seniors in Detroit during the holidays.

We wanted to help ease the burden seniors have to face during the holidays along with the added stresses of a global pandemic, one meal at a time. We volunteered to help load up food and holiday meals into vehicles to be dropped off at the homes of low-income seniors throughout South East Michigan. Together we were able to help deliver food to 1400 seniors in need.

We were able to do this through Focus: HOPE a non-profit that provides food boxes to senior citizens who are 60 years old or older and reside in Wayne, Oakland, Macomb, or Washtenaw counties.
