Spring has sprung here at the CareBuilders office. Here’s a few things to keep in mind as the months get warmer.
Now is The Perfect Time to Start Your Care
After the craziness of the holidays, and now that it is warm enough for people to start getting active. While I do think the holidays are a good time for people to take the plunge for a caregiver, it can also be too hectic for some people. Introducing a caregiver to your daily routine can be very challenging! It’s a lot on top of the busy holiday season.
Try to Stay Active
Whether you walk your dog, or do some gardening, or simply make it a point to walk around the block, spring is a great time to get active. Whereas during the winter you might stay inside to avoid the chill and ice. Try to do some activity every day, in whatever capacity that you can.
Start a New Hobby
Spring is a great time for new things. Consider starting a new hobby or looking into new activity groups. This will keep you both physically and socially active, which is good for your wellbeing. It is very important for older adults to look after their wellbeing as well as their physical health.
