At CareBuilders, we offer light housekeeping as part of our services. I believe I’ve gone over this before, but I want to go over it really quickly since it has been a while. We offer light housekeeping as one of our services, you can have more or less housekeeping if you want.
No Scrubbing
The key here is “light.” We don’t do any scrubbing. Alternatives that we can do within our contract are using a Swiffer, cleaner on a mirror, or vacuum. As long as it’s not too strenuous. We do not require anyone to scrub floors or bathtubs or anything like that.
Dusting
We’ll do some light dusting while we’re there, among other tasks. Of course, we don’t do anything too crazy, but basic daily dusting is something that we can do.
Surface Cleaner
We can also do surface cleaning like the stove or counters. Once again, we cannot do intense scrubbing and cleaning, but we can wipe down certain things. We do not provide our own products, so we will use whatever you make available to the caregivers.
