Happy Valentine’s Day everyone! Today I am going to suggest some family activities that you can enjoy with your grandkids. The great thing about these is that you can adjust them to fit your budget. These do not have to be expensive at all. I have done these for other holidays as well, and these posts are always fun.

Build Your Own Bouquet

This one may require more help from the internet, friends, or magazines. If you’re able to, how this works is you buy flowers wholesale from your local grocery store (a lady I follow uses Walmart) and you can build your own Valentine’s bouquet for your home. You can either do mini ones for each grandkid, or build ones for each household or whatever. You can also use fabric flowers.

Chocolate Covered Everything!

This one is much easier, I promise. The best part of Valentine’s Day is the chocolate. This one is super budget friendly as well, as all you’ll need is melting chocolate and fruits of your choice. You can even get a fruit platter or two from the grocery store. I like to use strawberries, bananas, apples, and cherries, personally. You could also use pineapple or melons. It really depends on what you all like.

Valentine’s Movie Night

You can pair this with the chocolate covered snacks or you all could make snacks themed to some of the movies, it’s up to you how involved you want to be with this. There are plenty of romantic movies that are appropriate for kids, but it of course is dependent on their ages. I have some ideas for family friendly movies here:

Ever After or Cinderella (animated)

The Princess Bride

Emma (2020)

Lady and the Tramp

The Little Mermaid

Beauty and the Beast

Happy Valentine’s Day everyone and I hope you all have fun!
