We select each of our caregivers carefully, both for their qualifications and their character. After a stroke in 2006, Perla’s mother became wheelchair-bound and Perla moved her into her home, where she cared for her mother for many years. Her experience caring for her mother led her to CareBuilders at Home in Friendswood, TX.
While Perla cares greatly for all of her clients, her heart was especially touched by a 95-year-old client with memory challenges. Although this client now lives at a memory care facility, Perla still visits her once a week to enjoy her company.
Ali’s caring nature and thoughtfulness has endeared him to his clients. One would wait for him each morning with a fresh pot of coffee to share. His client was always thrilled to see him, and they had wonderful conversations over coffee.
Never one to leave a client behind, Ali has been by his clients’ side for many of life’s most challenging moments, including their final ones.
In just a short time, Andrea and her client Gayle formed an unshakeable bond. Gayle’s family, who said they “couldn’t have handpicked a better person” to care for her, raved about Andrea’s selflessness and caregiving abilities. She exemplifies our commitment to providing at-home care services with love.
Since 2015, Rick has served people in the Bay Area in need of at-home care with genuine compassion. His dedication to two of his regular clients, an elderly couple, is so sincere that he goes out of his way to care for them when he isn’t working. He always makes sure they have food to eat, the medications that they need, and any other essentials.
