After a stroke in 2006, Perla’s mother became wheelchair-bound and Perla moved her into her home, where she cared for her mother for many years. Her experience caring for her mother led her to CareBuilders at Home in Friendswood, TX.While Perla cares greatly for all of her clients, her heart was especially touched by a 95-year-old client with memory challenges. Although this client now lives at a memory care facility, Perla still visits her once a week to enjoy her company.
