Kiran Mulgund is the Owner & Executive Director of CareBuilders at Home of West Essex, serving seniors, people with disabilities and people recovering from surgery or childbirth by providing compassionate, reliable in-home care. Kiran was inspired to start this business after navigating the challenges of caring for her own mother, and she brings that personal experience and empathy to every client relationship.
She and her team work hard to meet each client’s unique needs – whether that means finding a home health aide who speaks a client’s preferred language or being flexible with hours and services to fit a family’s needs.
Kiran is also a proud advocate for seniors in her personal life, serving on the board of the Montclair Inn, a nonprofit organization dedicated to providing affordable housing and daily meals to seniors, allowing them to stay in Montclair as they age. Kiran has been a long-time resident of Livingston, where she and her husband are raising their two children.
